Navigating Mentra

Learn the layout and find your way around

Mentra is organized into a few key areas. Once you know where everything lives, you'll move through the platform quickly and confidently.

The Left Sidebar

The sidebar is your main navigation hub. It's divided into sections:

  • Workspace — Your daily-use tools: AI Tools, AI Agents, and TeacherMade.
  • Learn — Professional development content and your Output History.
  • Coming Soon — Features currently in development (AppSpark, The Imagineer).
  • Company — About Us, Privacy & Safety, and the Help Center.
  • Account — Settings and (for admins) the Admin Panel.
Tip: The active page is always highlighted in green so you always know where you are.

The Top Bar

At the top of every page you'll find:

  • Search — Quickly find any tool by name or keyword.
  • Credit counter — Shows how many generations you have remaining this period.
  • Your avatar — Access your profile and account settings.

The Dashboard

The main dashboard (the home screen) shows all available tools grouped by category:

  • K-12 — Tools built for classroom educators.
  • Higher Education — Tools designed for college and university contexts.
  • Inclusive Education Support — Tools for differentiation and accessibility.

Use the category tabs at the top of the dashboard to filter, or use the search bar to jump straight to a tool.

Tip: Click the ★ icon on any tool card to add it to your Favorites for fast access.

Output History

Every piece of content you generate is automatically saved. Go to Output History in the sidebar to:

  • Browse all past generations, sorted by most recent.
  • Copy or download any previous output.
  • Filter by tool type to find specific content quickly.
